The Most Beautiful Women in Sports

Here are some of the most beautiful women in sports.
And uniquely for me only one sport involves getting hit in the head!
Lot of tennis players though...Hmmmmm...
Anyway, here is the list...

Jelena Jankovic, Serbian professional tennis player
Jelena Jankovic was born on February 28, 1985 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (now Serbia).
She is often regarded as one of the fittest and toughest players in women's tennis.
She looks it.

Elena Dementieva, Russian professional tennis player
Elena Dementieva was born on October 15, 1981 in Moscow Russia.
At the age of seven, she was rejected by both the Dynamo Sports Club (the oldest sports and physical training society of the Soviet Union) and the Central Red Army Tennis Club (a major Russian sports club).
Shows what they know, she went on to win two Olympic medals in singles.

Maria Kirilenko, Russian professional tennis player
Maria Kirilenko was born on on January 25, 1987, in Moscow Russia (again with Moscow!).
She appeared in the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

Amanda Beard, American Olympic-level swimmer and model.
Amanda Beard was born on October 29, 1981 in Newport Beach, California.
From 1996 to 2004, she won seven gold medals.

Ana Ivanovic, Serbian tennis player
Ana Ivanovic was born on November 6, 1987, in Belgrade, Serbia.
Proving that sports is indeed international, she has dated Spanish tennis player Fernando Verdasco and Australian golfer Adam Scott.

Maria Sharapova, Russian professional tennis player
Maria Sharapova was born on April 19, 1987, in Nyagan, Russia.

Danica Patrick, American auto racing driver, model and advertising spokeswoman
Danica Patrick was born on March 25, 1982 in Beloit, Wisconsin.
NASCAR driver Tony Stewart said this about her:
"I think obviously she's got talent; she's been successful in every form of racing she's been in so far and I don't see why she wouldn't be successful here in NASCAR."
Well in 2010 she'll get her chance to prove it, because on September 5th, 2009 it was reported that Danica will join NASCAR in 2010.

Natalie Gulbis, American professional golfer
Natalie Gulbis was born on January 7, 1983, in Sacramento, California.
In 2007, she won the Evian Masters.
She appeared in FHM in 2004, and released her own calender in 2005.

Kari Traa, Norwegian freestyle skier
Kari Traa was born on January 28, 1974 in Voss, Norway.
She has a total of 37 World Cup victories.
In 2002, Kari was voted the "Most sexy woman in Norway" by the the magazine MANN.

Anna Kournikova, Russian professional tennis player and model

Anna was born on  June 7, 1981, in Moscow, Russia (of course).

Gina Carano, American mixed martial arts fighter.
Female MMA fighter Gina Carano was born on April 16, 1982, in Dallas County, Texas.
Her current MMA record stands at 7-1-0, her one loss being to Cris "Cyborg" Santos at Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg.

Allison Stokke, California pole vaulting champion
Allison Stokke is a beautiful female athlete that wants to be known for her talent instead of her looks.
She was born on March 22, 1989, in Newport Beach, California.
I can't blame her for wanting to be famous for what she can do rather than what she looks like, but you have to admit, she is a very beautiful young lady.

Michelle Wie, American professional golfer
Michelle Wie was born on October 11, 1989, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She was the the youngest player to qualify for USGA amateur championship, at the age of ten!

Jennie Finch, American softball player
Jennie Finch was born on September 3, 1980, in La Mirada, California.
She is possibly the most famous softball player of all time an she started out at the age of five.
Jennie appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition in 2005 and 2006.

Lauren was born on May 11th, 1981 in Albury, New South Wales, Australia.
This six foot five, 187 pound beauty has played forward/center for the Seattle Storm in the WNBA, the Australian national team The Opals and the Canberra Capitals of the Australian WNBL.
She appeared in the 2005 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Anna Rawson, Australian professional golfer and model
Anna Rawson was born on August 5th 1981 in Adelaide, Australia.
She started golf at the age of thirteen, and modeling at sixteen.

Amy Taylor, Australian former football (soccer) player
Amy played for the Australian women's national team, "The Matildas", the Canberra Eclipse and the Hampton Roads Piranhas in the United States.

Milene Domingues, Brazilian model and footballer.
Milene Domingues was born on June 18th, 1979 in São Paulo, Brazil.
She was the first ex-wife of football star Ronaldo, who I think is trying to date every woman in Brazil.
Milene holds the record for ball juggling with 55,198 touches.

Kerri Walsh, American professional beach volleyball player.
Kerri Walsh was born on August 15, 1978 in Santa Clara, California.
She and her team-mate Misty May-Treanor have been called "the greatest beach volleyball team of all time".
They were gold medalists in beach volleyball at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics.

Tanith Belbin, Canadian-American ice dancer
Tanith Belbin  was born on July 11, 1984 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. During her career, Tanith has been the 2006 Olympic silver medalist, four time World medalist, three time Four Continents champion, and five-time U. S. champion.
