The Beautiful Women of Venezuela

Here are some of the beautiful women of Venezuela.
I know Brazil gets all the press (and they do deserve it) but if this doesn't make you consider a Venezuela vacation, I don't know what will.

Venezuelan beauty queen, Aída Yéspica was born on July 15th, 1982 in Barquisimeto, Venezuela.
Aida started out as a model, then went on to appear on the Miss Venezuela beauty pageant in 2002, and then she went to Italy and became a star there.
She then went on to appear in a couple of reality shows, L'isola dei Famosi and Supervivientes.
Aida quickly became a fan favorite.

Gaby Espino was born on November 15th, 1977 in Caracas, Venezuela.
She is an actress and model.
Gaby made her television debut in 1997 on the high school drama TV show, A todo corazón.
She's gone on to appear in thirteen TV series and two movies, La mujer de mi hermano, a 2005 Peruvian film and Elipsis in 2006.
Gaby is so popular, her calender has it's own Facebook page.

Dayana Mendoza was born on June 1st, 1986 in Caracas, Venezuela.
She is not only a model, but also Miss Venezuela 2007 and Miss Universe 2008.
Separating her from some of the other Miss Universes is the fact that Dayana was once kidnapped!
I'm gonna leave it at that and not get into the whole "Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp Situation" with her.

Model and actress Norkys Batista was born on August 30th, 1977 in Caracas, Venezuela.
She was the first runner up in the 1999 Miss Venezuela pageant.
Norkys has appeared on seven telenovelas starting with 2002's Juana la virgen as Desirée de Rojas.
She followed that up with La trepadora, Amor a Palos, Estrambotica Anastasia and Mi Gorda Bella.
Norkys has also appeared in three films, Miranda, El Sr. Presidente and 13 segundos.

I'll never forget Patricia Velásquez simply for the first scene in 1999's The Mummy with her as Anck-Su-Namun.
Wow.
Patricia was born on January 31st, 1971 in Zulia, Venezuela.
She's another former beauty queen. She was in the 1989 Miss Venezuela pageant, although she didn't win.
She went into modeling, and while she was doing that, she was taking acting lessons.
The lessons paid off in 1996 when she debuted in Le Jaguar (with the awesome Jean Reno).
Patricia has gone on to appear in sixteen films and a few TV shows, most notably "Arrested Development" and "The L Word".
She will be appearing in The Operative: Red Dawn (no relation to the Red Dawn remake)  and the rip-off of Marvel's Thor movie, Almighty Thor.

The daughter of an Italian diplomat, Carolina Marconi was born on April 14th, 1978 in Caracas, Venezuela.
She is of Italian and Venezuelan heritage.
Well actually it's Italian, Eritrean,Venezuelan and Portugese.
Carolina is a model and actress.
She's appeared in a couple of Italian movies (Gli inaffidabili (1997) and A Positive Life (2004)), and on the Italian version of Big Brother.

Norelys Rodriguez was the second runner up in the 2001 Miss Venezuela pageant.
She was born on July 14th, 1977.
Norelys is a host for the Wild On! TV show in Mexico.

Christina Dieckmann was born on April 22nd, 1977, in Caracas, Venezuela
Okay, are they putting something in the water in Caracas?
Anyway... guess what?
Yes, Christina was in the 1997 Miss Venezuela pageant where she won Miss World Venezuela 1997.
She also won Miss Photogenic and Miss Internet.
Miss Internet?
She has gone on to appear on several TV shows, starting with 2000s "Amantes de Luna Llena" as Bárbara.

The lovely Sonia Vera was born in Margarita, Venezuela (Finally...not Caracas!)
She appeared in the 2002 film The Scorpion King , but you may recognize her as a model on "Deal or No Deal".
She was Model #25 back in 2007.
Sonia also has her own line of swimwear called (appropriately enough) Sonia Vera Swimwear.
