Huna and Ho'oponopono
Huna and Ho'oponopono

Dr. Len, Joe Vitale, Max Long and Ho'oponopono

I was introduced to Ho'oponopono through the book Zero Limits by Joe Vitale and Dr. Stanley Hew Len.
Of course to many people, just hearing the name Joe Vitale sets off warning bells. A quick search on him brings up such terms as "Joe Vitale scam".
But despite what people say about him, Joe's books were instrumental in leading me to the teachings of Neville Goddard, and they say you know a tree by its fruits right?

Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness, but how close the Ho'oponopono techniques in the Zero Limits book are to actual Ho'oponopono techniques in Hawaiian tradition is a matter of debate.

Allegedly, the "I love you, I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you" cleaning that Dr. Stanley Hew Len gives in the book, does not appear at all in actual Ho'oponopono practices.

From what I can tell, the Ho'oponopono techniques that Dr. Hew Len lays down in the book, are abbreviated versions of the techniques taught by Morrnah Simeona, a healing priest or kahuna lapa'au.
Not only was Morrnah a kahuna, but she also practiced lomi lomi, a holistic healing tradition that went beyond simple massage.
She actually owned and operated health spas at the Kahala Hilton and Royal Hawaiian hotels, and had luminaries such as Lyndon B. Johnson, Jackie Kennedy and Arnold Palmer as clients.

Here is where my problem lies.
Morrnah Simeona herself taught a modification of the ancient ho'oponopono techniques.
Now she had the cred mind you, her mother was one of the last recognized kahuna la'au kahea (priest who heals with words) in Hawaii.
Dr. Hew Len was a student of Morrnah, but he gets flack because he modified Ho'oponopono even further as far as I can tell.

I guess I have a problem with that because of Bruce Lee.
You see, Bruce took the martial arts that he was trained in, and cut away all the excess leaving a workable system, free of traditional constraints.
That gave us Jeet Kune Do, and some say the forerunner of mixed martial arts.

I see little difference in what Stanley Hew Len did and that.

And another thing... I have tried Ho'oponopono, and Dr. Len's version works.

Some of you know that I had a lot of bad things going on recently, and all my mantras, affirmations and seeing from the end...well didn’t do a thing really.

So since I had read Zero Limits, I figured "What the heck?" and decided to give the Ho'oponopono cleaning tools another whirl.

I started doing the "I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you", got an eraser and started using it and guess what?

Things got better.
I don’t know about you...but I can’t argue with results.

But truth to tell, I modified Dr. Len's version a bit myself.

I added Huna.

Now despite what it sounds like, Huna is not Hawaiian.
Even the experts say so.
Huna was created by American teacher and New Thought philosopher, Max Freedom Long.
Max went to Hawaii to teach in elementary schools, and while he was there, he claimed that he got inside knowledge that some of the Native Hawaiians were practicing magic.
Now he tied this magic study into the kahunas, but Charles Kenn, a Hawaiian scholar, a real kahuna and an expert in Hawaiian history and traditions, says that while Max's Huna study is interesting "it is not, and never was Hawaiian.".

Due to the popularity, Ho'oponopono and Huna seem to kinda blur when you look them up.

So let me just tell you what I did, and what has been working for me.....

One...I do the "I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you" constantly.
I have an eraser (when we were moving it just kinda appeared), and I write down things that are problems and "tap" on them with the eraser as I say "I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you".
I carry the eraser around with me too.
One school of thought says the more you use it, the more charged it becomes.

Two...I do the Kahuna "Complete Breathing" Technique that you can read about here
http://huna.blogspot.com/2006/07/kahuna-breathing-key-to-unlimited.html

Three, I do Morrnah Simeona's Statement of Release Prayer at least once a day...

"Divine creator, father, mother, son as one ...
If I, my family, relatives and ancestors have offended you, your family, relatives and ancestors in thoughts, words, deeds and actions from the beginning of our creation to the present, we ask your forgiveness...
Let this cleanse, purify, release, cut all the negative memories, blocks, energies and vibrations and transmute these unwanted energies to pure light ... And it is done."

Four...I keep studying and learning more and more about Huna and Ho'oponopono.

So there you have it.

You can say that Joe Vitale and Dr. Stanley Hew Len are quacks; you can say that Max Freedom Long knew nothing about what he was talking about if you want.

But I can tell you that we kept count and as we were moving, we had a string of eleven good things happen in a row after I started using Huna and Ho'oponopono.
Things were happening with such regularity that we stopped counting.

But I didn’t stop cleaning.

I clean my data on public figures like big bankers and key political leaders, as well as friends and contacts who I want to have a better relationship with. In the You Tube interview, Dr. Len sez that when I heal myself in reference to particular individuals The Source can get access to those others and heal them as well.

I have been doing this for only a month, so no "results" yet, but the process seems to be slow, since it took four years to have an effect on Hawaii State Hospital.

I must have missed it, but you didn't really say what Huna is.
