Beautiful Chinese Actresses - 2
75More Beautiful Chinese Actresses - Featuring Shu Qi, Cecilia Cheung, Faye Wong and more.
Last year I did a beautiful Chinese actress Hub that seems to be pretty popular, so I thought since people like it, why not make a second one?
So I did.
Now you won't be seeing Lucy Liu, Gong Li, Michelle Yeoh, Liu Yifei, Zhao Wei, Maggie Cheung or Zhang Ziyi in this one because they were in the first one.
So don’t ask where they are.
Shu Qi
Shu Qi was born on April 16th, 1976 in Xindian, Taiwan, Republic of China.
She is sometimes listed as...
Chi Hsu, Qi Hsu, Shu Qi, Chi Shu, Kei Shu, Qui Shu, Kei Su, Hsu Chi, Shu Qui or Shu Kei.
Shu Qi has had a very busy prolific career, appearing in well over sixty films including the 2009 American film, New York, I Love You.
But if you are like me, you'll remember her best starring opposite Jason Statham in the 2002 film The Transporter (which I loved).
Cecilia Cheung
Another actress and cantopop singer, Cecilia Cheung was born on May 24th, 1980 in Hong Kong.
She started out doing commercials, and her big screen debut was in the 1999 Stephen Chow film, King of Comedy.
Cecilia went on to appear in over thirty films, the last being The 601st Phone Call in 2006.
She released her first album Any Weather in 1999 and her last album C1, was released in 2005.
Along with Gillian Chung and Bobo Chan, Cecilia was involved in the Edison Chen photo scandal.
Faye Wong
Faye Wong does it all.
She is a singer, songwriter, actress and model who is listed in the Guinness World Records as the Best Selling Canto-Pop Female recording artist.
Faye has sold over 9.7 million albums in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan.
She was born on August 8, 1969 in Beijing, China as Xia Lin.
As a model, Faye has appeared on the covers of Vogue Taiwan, Elle and Marie Claire Hong Kong, and has appeared in fashion magazines like Japanese Elle and other Asian magazines.

Angela Zhang
Taiwanese pop singer and actress Angela Chang was born on January 19, 1982 in Taoyuan, Taiwan.

She has gone on to appear in five more TV series.
Angela released her first album in 2004, Over The Rainbow, and has released five more since.

Huang Shengyi
If you have seen Stephen Chow's 2004 Hong Kong action comedy film Kung Fu Hustle (I loved that movie), you have already seen Huang Shengyi.
She played Fong, the lollipop girl.
Huang Shengyi was born on February 11, 1983 in Shanghai, China.
Kung Fu Hustle was her first film, and she has gone on to appear in nine more films including 2009's Race to Witch Mountain (as Shira the UFO Huntress).
She has also appeared in eight TV series in China.
She has appeared on the covers of both Maxim and FHM.
