Beautiful But Deadly 6 - More Deadly Women
81Beautiful But Deadly 6 - Featuring Michele Gutierrez, Zara Phythian, Whitney Jene Harchanko, Christine Theiss and more.
Here is another in my "Beautiful But Deadly" series.
This time we have (mainly martial artists) from Jujitsu, kickboxing, Brazilian Ju Jitsu (BJJ), Goju Ryu, Shotokan, Kung Fu, Wado Ryu, Krav Maga and boxing.
We have actresses, stunt women, a doctor, a yogi and a former American Gladiator contestant.
Whitney Jene Harchanko
No I didn’t get an entry from one of my "Most Beautiful" Hubs mixed in here.
Whitney Jene Harchanko (born on July 24th, 1987) is an actress, model and a 2nd degree black belt in American Karate.
This five foot six, 119 pound beauty has been training in her home state of Minnesota at the National Karate Academy of Martial Arts for eleven years.
Whitney even appeared on the MTV2 reality show Final Fu back in 2006.
You can find out more about her at her link below.
Christine Theiss
Next up is Christine Theiss.
Sorry, make that DR. Christine Theiss.
Christine is not only a doctor, but a professional world champion in full contact kickboxing as well.
She was born on February 22nd, 1980, and started kickboxing at the age of seven.
Christine also posed for Maxim and appeared on the German TV show Spear of Destiny.
You can find out more about her at her website (link below).
Duda Yankovich
Female boxer Duda "Diamond" Yankovich was born in Jagodina, Yugoslavia on September 27th, 1976.
Besides boxing, Duda has a black belt in Shotokan karate that she got at the age of 14.
That made her the youngest black belt in Serbia at the time because they didn’t have "McDojos" that just cranked out black belts.
From Shotokan she moved to kickboxing and became national champion three times.
Not satisfied with that, Duda moved into boxing.
BoxRec has her at 11-2-0, with five wins by KO.
Her last boxing match was a loss to Esther Phiri on May 29th, 2010 at the Mulungushi Conference Centre in Lusaka, Zambia.
As far as I know she is not related to Weird Al.
Michele Gutierrez
Michele "Diablita" Gutierrez is a female mixed martial artist fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada.
She started out as a boxer, then moved into Muay Thai.
Michele was born on June 29th, 1981 and stands five foot six and weighs 120 pounds.
She lost her first fight against Felice Herrig at Unconquered 1 - November Reign on November 20th, 2009, but has come back to win three fights in a row against Amy Stacey, Cassie Roddish and Tammie Schneider.
Her current record is 3-1-0.
Zara Phythian
Zara Phythian is a former 13 times multi style sports martial arts champion in Weapons, Fighting, Forms and Musical Performance Forms.
She got "discovered" at a competition in the US; while she was busy winning four US National Belt Titles.
In 2006, Zara became the first Brit to be inducted into the International Karate & Kickboxing Hall of Fame.
Other people that have been inducted into the IKK Hall of Fame are Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Ernie Reyes, Hee Il Cho and Ed Parker.
Zara retired from competition and went full time into acting.
She has appeared in two films so far, Crops (2006) and Underground (2007) and has The Hike (2011), A.B (2011) and Warrioress in production.
You can see her website at the link below.
Liz Shayne
This gorgeous young lady is yogi, martial artist, teacher and Vice President of Budokon International, Liz Shayne.
She started out in Yoga, moved to Power Yoga, then to Northern-Style Kung Fu, Yang-style Tai Chi and Chen-style Tai Chi.
Liz currently holds a certification from the Beijing Tai Chi and Kung Fu Academy in Tai-Chi Quan and is a certified Budokon Sensei.
You can find out more about Budokan and Liz at the link below.
Christine Philips
Actress, model and stuntwoman Christine Philips has been in martial arts for over twenty years.
She's trained in...(get ready)..Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Okinawan Shuri Te, Goju Ryu, Shotokan, Kung Fu, Wado Ryu and Krav Maga.
Add that to the fact she’s a stunt woman and gets thrown through windows and blown up on a daily basis and I'd wager that Christine is a pretty tough cookie!
She was also a contestant on the American Gladiators TV show.
You can find out more about her in the links section.
Angie Woolum
This five foot four, 126 pound beauty is Angie Woolum.
Angie's ring nickname is "The Mingo Warrior".
That comes from the Native American Mingo tribe who were considered fierce warriors.
With her hand speed, powerful kicking techniques and grappling skill, it may be hard to believe this lady was once a Homecoming Queen.
At one time she was rated ninth by the International Female Boxing Association (IFBA), she is an undefeated kick boxer, she was the first female American to win an
International Sport Jujitsu Association (ISJA) World Title in Full-Contact Sport Jujitsu and she fought for Chuck Norris in his World Combat League (WCL) for the Miami Force.
Angie has a good internet presence and you can find out more about her in the links below in the link section.

the beautiful and dangerous
We need more women in the martial arts. Thanks for your posts. I don't think that many women realize that performing martial arts will contribute to their femininity. The few girls we have at the dojo are gorgeous. Maintaining a physical discipline through the growing years helps them develop beautifully. Also, the self confidence they get helps them deal with men's insecurities when they get in relationships.
As always so awesome, beautiful, easy to read!!!
These women scare me!
Only a fool would messed up whit this wonderful ladies!
Whitney Jene Harchanko is a real beauty!
Great hubs!
Wow these women are really hot and them being kick ass babes makes it even better! very nice hub and Gramon 1 is right, we do need more women martial artists!
Scare you?? I think there could not be more sexy in a lady!
Thanks for the links to all the girls. Awesome stuff :-)
You are missing out if you keep overlooking Holly Holm. Seriously.
Okay, you have one lady here I would take and wouldn't mind taking a beating from, as long as she would be willing to nurse me back to health when she is done kicking my ass. :P :) That woman would be Liz Shayne. :)
