Beautiful But Deadly 2 - More Female Fighters Who Could Hurt You
79Beautiful But Deadly 2 - More Female Fighters Who Could Hurt You
So here is my follow up Hub to "Beautiful But Deadly - Female Fighters Who Could Hurt You".
Like I said before, I usually just focus on a fighter's skills, but what's wrong with acknowledging the whole woman sometimes?
So here are some more women from the worlds of martial arts, female MMA, female boxing, Muay Thai and submission grappling that may look good, but can (as we say in the South) lay a hurtin' on you.
WWE Diva, and two time WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres is (and evidently has been for a while) studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has a blue belt from the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy.
She is good enough that in an interview, MVP said Eve actually applied a rear naked choke to a WWE Superstar and knocked him out.
MVP wouldn't say who, not wanting to embarrass the wrestler.
Oh, and she trains in kickboxing as well.
If you know anything about MMA or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, you are familiar with the name Gracie.
Well this beautiful young lady is Kyra Gracie.
She has won the World BJJ Champion three times, she was the Pan American BJJ Games Champion five times, the Brazilian BJJ Champion five times, the New York State BJJ Champion five times, the ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) Submission Wrestling World Champion twice and the Asiatic BJJ Champion once.
And should you be lucky enough to date Kyra, you wouldn't have to just worry about her kicking the crap out of you if you get outta line, you would have to worry about her entire family!
Lana Banely
Lana Banely (also listed as Lana Baneli) was born on December 9th, 1985 in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia.
This lovely young lady messes around with Tae Kwon Do.
By “messes around” I mean she has had 27 registered fights and won 20 of them.
She got the Gold at the 2001 Belgium Open, the Gold at the 2001 European Junior Championships, the Silver at the 2002 European Championship, the Bronze at the 2002 World Cup, the Bronze at the 2002 World Junior Championships, the Silver at the 2004 Dutch Open, the Silver at the 2005 German Open.
And did I mention that she's a model too?
Kickboxer and female MMA fighter Felice Herrig hasn't had a really good time of it.
She started out well enough on the Fight Girls reality series on the Oxygen channel back in 2007.
Felice even made it to Thailand where she faced and defeated a champion Thai fighter.
But since turning pro here, her record is at 3-3-0.
Her last fight was a loss to Barb Honchak (2-1-0) by unanimous decision at Hoosier FC 6 - New Years Nemesis on January 14th, 2011 at the Porter County Expo Center in Valparaiso, Indiana.
This beautiful young lady is Aby Rulloda (aka Bad Aby), who is, believe it or not, the current Muay Thai WCSC Super Flyweight Title holder.
Her current record in Muay Thai is 3-0-1.
And besides being a Muay Thai fighter, she is a model and a Go-Go dancer (yes they still have those).
Also, before Aby got into the ring, she was the winner of Strikeforce’s first ever Ring Girl Model Search.
Some people might say that LaTasha Marzolla looks more like a model than a MMA fighter.
Well she's both.
In 2003, LaTasha and her buddy Bobbi Billard both trained for the WWE to become Divas.
(LaTasha already had some training, she was on her junior varsity wrestling team)
Well they both got kicked out for not taking the training seriously.
So LaTasha left, became friends with a female MMA fighter you may have heard of, Gina Carano, and went to train with the famous Master Toddy at his martial arts school.
LaTasha built up an impressive 9-3 record in Muay Thai and has now moved on to MMA.
She had her first fight against Christy Tada at the Tuff-N-Uff extravaganza in May of 2009 and won.
Then she took on Kate McGray at Tuff-N-Uff on November 27th, 2009 and won.
But, when she faced Nikki Rae Lowe on October 22nd, 2010 at Tuff-N-Uff Future Stars of MMA, she lost via TKO when she dislocated her elbow in the first round.
So her MMA record now stands at 2-1-0
The beautiful Ana Julaton is a Filipino-American female boxer.
Ana is petite, cute and the holder of the International Boxing Association super bantamweight title.
Yep, on September 12th, 2009, Ana made history by becoming the first Filipino-American female boxer to win that title.
And another thing....
It was only her fifth professional fight.
Her last fight was a win over Maria Elena Villalobos in Rama, Ontario, Canada on June 30th, 2010 for the vacant WBO female super bantamweight title.
So why is female fitness model and female figure competitor Monique (Minton) Ricardo here?
Well if you read my Hub on her, you'd see that Monique has taken up MMA training.
And she's good enough that she won a gold medal in the no gi division at the 2009 North American Grappling Association (NAGA) Europa World Grappling Championships.
And that's no small potatoes since Naga is the largest submission grappling association in North America.
I just wonder if Monique will ever throw caution to the winds and go into MMA full time?
This is female boxer Yoli Pena.
She was born on April 1st, 1988 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and currently lives in Edinburg, Texas.
Her current boxing record is 2-1-0, with her two wins being knockouts.
Yoli's last fight was against Johanna Mendez on June 13th, 2008 at the Convention Center in McAllen, Texas which she lost.
By the way, Yoli is also an aspiring model.
Besides being a third-generation wrestler WWE Diva Natalya (Nattie Neidhart) is trained in amateur wrestling and mixed martial arts.
From what I can find out, she is trained in jiu jitsu, but I don't know who trained her.
It's possible she got her training along with her pro wrestling training at the infamous Hart Family Dungeon.
She was the first woman to ever train at the Dungeon.

What does black belt mean, but an undetstanding to protect what you love. be it you or your family. Maybe I am there maybe one day, I guess who knows. Time, trials and many hours of thought and focus. Will we ever get there?
Yet, turn the other cheek, I still adhere to, in attitude, love and understanding. May it be your's.
Hi All
Having two sons that eat breath and live their martial arts and fitness and having a daughter that is following suite. What can I say? Inspirational for my daughter.

Love this article.....
La Tasha can slap my legs anyday and to be pinned down underneath would be a dream come true.
Sabre Blade,
I agree with you about acknowledging the "whole woman". While most women martial arists are shapely and, thus, very visually appealing. Jujutsu, like you mention, as I understand the art is briefly defined as:
"application of anatomical knowledge to the purpose of offense or defense. it does not depend upon muscular strength. make opponent numb and incapable of resistance,"
Bushido, Soul of Japan; Inazo Nitobe.
Needless to say, a woman trained in such, is a formidable adversary. Even though she is a definite pleasure to gaze upon.

Tough and beautiful women that really kick ass! Woo!
Good hub.
All my moves better be right otherwise I get my butt kicked !!!
These women are truly amazing. I was surprised at the muscles on Monique Minton, because I've seen other pictures where she looks so slight and slim and feminine. I should remember her Martial Arts training!
Pardon the pun, but these women are knockouts..! Martial arts requires mind and body discipline and strength...these women have both...Thanks for this excellent Hub...Larry
