She was born on October 13th, 1982 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.

Besides Basketball, she lists Karate as one of her hobbies.
She released several DVDs in Japan and appeared in two Japanese movies, Tokyo Shugo Tenshi (2007) and Maranika - Ochiru Onna (2007)
Although she is very popular, Arisa retired from modeling in 2007.

It appears now that Arisa didn't retire, she apparently just changed her name to Mika Kayama and is still working.
The birth date listed for Mika (October 13th, 1982) and birthplace (Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan) match.
Interestingly, Mika Kayama is also the name of a character in Sailor Moon.
